On January 17th just before 4am, Perth County OPP received a report of a break and enter in progress at a business on Bright Street East in Listowel.
Three suspects had broken into a fenced in storage yard at the business. Police arrived on the scene quickly after. Both suspects attempted to flee, one fled on a bike, another was caught after a brief foot chase and another was hiding in the storage yard.
A 36 year old with no fixed address was arrested and charged with break and enter and mischief over $5000. A 64 with no fixed address has been charged with break and enter, mischief over 5000 and possession of break in instruments.
Both will appear in Stratford court at a later date.
