The Trudeau government has laid out their latest package for economy recovery.
The Liberals are proposing targeted support businesses, workers affected from lockdowns and extra weeks of benefits which expired only a few days ago.
The government has proposed to offer $300/week to workers who find themselves without work due to a COVID-19 related lockdown in their region between now and spring.
The payments would not apply for those who are without work due to a workplace vaccine mandate.
