Trillium Mutual Insurance has been named the latest business in North Perth as a Certified Living Wage Employer by United Way Perth Huron.
President and CEO of Trillium Mutual, Tracy MacDonald says they believe in the people who are the heart of what they do and are committed to growth of staff, community and economy.
The living wage is calculated based on a 35 hour work week taking into account local expenses of the average family of four which factors housing, food, utilities, child care and transportation.
The living wage in Perth Huron is set at $17.95 per hour.
