The range of businesses set to take part in the Transportation Bootcamp with 30 of the school’s automotive students include Premier Equipment, Midwestern Equipment, Listowel Chrysler, Larry Hudson Chevrolet Buick GMC, Heinmiller Repairs, Equipment Ontario, DG’s Pro Tech and Chubbies Auto.
Marcel van Leeuwen, Head of Tech Studies at the school says it’s a great thing for the students involved.
“They are our co-op employers, they are the ones who give opportunies to the students through co-op programs and they see the students as they come out of highschool. It’s a fantastic opportunity.”
The Transporation Workshop is going on all day tomorrow at LDSS.
