Tradition Mutual Insurance is continuing a tradition to bring comfort to patients and families at the Stratford General Hospital with support of teddy bears.
The support for more than five years recently saw a donation of $1846.49 to help continue this tradition going.
Through the hospital foundations Teddy Bears and Friends program, every $100 donated in support of the Special Care Nursery provides a teddy bear to a little one receiving care in the unit.
The bears are also used in the hospital’s Infant Loss program with some transformed into weighted bears and given to families who have experienced the loss of a baby.
