Toronto man sentences to 5 years for Abduction & Luring of Person Younger than 16

A Stratford Court has sentenced a Toronto man who plead guilty to charges of child abduction, luring and invitation to sexual touching to five years in prison.

The announced sentence yesterday was to 36 year old Corygon Allicock and in the decision Justice McKerlie says the combination of the luring and abduction of the victim under the age of 16 was horrific.

The abduction took place in Perth County late last year after Allicock poses as a 20 year old online and began communicating with the victim via Snapchat.

Three other charges, including one of breaching a bail condition by the suspect communicating with the victim, were withdrawn.

Factors such as Allicock pleading guilty, and having no previous criminal record, were some of the reasons for the sentence.
