A Toronto man is facing charges of fraud, theft, money laundering and more in regards to a scam which cost a Centre Wellington business $200,000.
Police were contacted in February from the business who says they lost around $230,000 to a phishing scam.
This led police to executing a search warrant on October 17th at a home in Toronto.
The 31 year old faces multiple charges including Fraud Over $5000, Theft Over $5000, Laundering the Proceeds of Crime and Two Counts of Forgery.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
