LISTOWEL – Five Amigos Broadcasting is proud to announce the upcoming launch of a new country community radio station, 100.1FM The Ranch.

The Ranch will be located at the same office as its sister company, the Listowel Banner.

“We’re excited to expand our group of locally-focused radio stations to Perth County,” says Nick Cadotte, general manager of 100.1FM The Ranch. “Our mix of community content and today’s hottest country is going to fill a much-needed gap in the area.”

The Ranch will be focused on helping local businesses market themselves with value-driven marketing strategies that bring real results, while partnering with local community events and fundraisers to help strengthen the community.

“We believe in local, and I know that’s what has made our stations in the small towns of Wallaceburg and Timiskaming successful,” says Cadotte. “I’ve relocated to the area, and we’re bringing personality Nick Pal of Minto back home to help us kick things off right.”

The Ranch will have coverage of over 85,000 population in Perth County, and will feature farm market and bus cancellation reports, community events, and local news and sports.

Cadotte says that the station is planning a big community kickoff in the fall, and that social media channels and their website will be up and running in the next few weeks.
