The Drive Thru Santa Claus parade in Listowel is this coming Saturday. The parade will be located at Memorial Park and will be a stationary parade that drivers drive past to enjoy the sights. North Perth Chamber of Commerce General Manager Sharon D’Arcey says that while there are many ways to get into Memorial Park there is a preferred way to enter to experience the parade.
“What we are promoting mainly is that it’s at Memorial Park. The access to the pathway that we want them to go on is located on Elm Avenue. It is the street behind the old Memorial Arena.
Newcomers might not actually know where the old arena is so we say up past the hospital continue on Elizabeth Avenue. It will take you to a street called Elm Avenue. Behind the arena.
2 blocks in and yo will see Derry Street. You will see us situated there with some signs.”
The parade will be running from 11 am until 3pm Saturday. The route map is available from the North Perth Chamber’s website or we will link to it from our website.
