The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority is gearing up for a TD Trees Day Event taking place at the Gorrie Conservation Area.
Taking place on September 27th, the conservation authority is looking for help to plant trees and shrubs on the north side of the river at the conservation area.
This naturalization will help protect water quality, improve biodiversity, improve habitat for wildlife and reduce the costs and fuel use of extensive grass cutting.
The event will run from 9am-12pm.
