Wellington County is continuing the promotion of shopping local with a campaign on eating local.
Taste Real’s Eat Up Your February Campaign has the public invited to explore what the County’s local food options have to offer and engage with agriculture and food during the winter.
The initiative has a list of 20 different ways to shop and enjoy local food and explore various outings.
Taste Real has also partnered with the Guelph Box to have local winter flavours delivered to your door across Wellington County with a curated winter local food box.
Boxes will be delivered on February 26th with 5 per cent of proceeds going back to Wellington County Food Banks. More information is available from TasteReal.ca.
