A support worker has been charged in the death of a 40 year old client.
On March 11th just before 7pm, Stratford Police responded to a sudden death at a residence in St Marys which was owned and operated as a Supportive Living Residence by Community Living St Marys.
While life saving measures were used, the 40 year old woman, a resident of the home was pronounced deceased shortly after police arrival.
After investigation, a developmental support worker, employed by Community Living St Marys was charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Death and Failure to Provide Necessaries of Life.
The accused was released from custody and will appear in court next month.
