investStratford has partnered up with Perth County and the Perth County Community Futures Development Corporation to allow more students to step forward and get into entrepreneurship for the summer.
Summer Company, an Ontario program for students aged 15-29 allows them to start up their own business over the summer.
The program will work with 10 students to turn their business ideas into reality.
Over the last decade, the Stratford-Perth Centre for Business has helped over 80 new student run businesses get off the ground.
CEO of investStratford, Joanie Gerber says they’ve seen an increase of young community members want to get into business and the extra mentor ship is a great step forward.
