Students may get extended Christmas break

Ontario students may get an extended winter break around Christmas and New Years or start classes remotely as the province considers way to reduce Covid 19 rates.

Education Minister Stephen Lecce says he’s talking to health officials and looking at solutions that may include some period out of class.

This comes after last Friday the spokesperson for the Minister stating that Ontario wasn’t considering any further changes to the school year schedule.
