The success of the poppy campaign has been felt in Wingham.
The Wingham Legion Branch 180 announced between the community of Wingham and Teeswater the donations raised from the poppy campaign was able to reach $5728.95.
The funds will go directly back to supporting veterans to the Parkwood Hospital, the Homeless Veterans Fund and locally to improve the lives of veterans.
Tim Poole, Poppy Chair for Branch 180 expressed his gratitude and the continued support from the community being greatly appreciated.
