The federal government is dishing out support for the Stratford Public Library for its seniors program.
The library has announced they received a grant of $21,968 to support the “Aging with Agility” program from the government of Canada’s New Horizons for the seniors program.
Funding will help boost the program which addresses crucial aspects for seniors lives such as health, security and independence.
CEO Krista Robinson says the New Horizons for Seniors Program plays a pivotal role in empowering senior serving organizations to engage and support older adults within the community.
