Stratford Police have arrested a man threatening people while carrying a knife in the city.
Police received the report on November 30th just before 10am with the man threatening people from inside his vehicle at the Cooper Lot off St Patrick Street.
Officers arrived at the scene and located the parked vehicle and found the man who was alone in his vehicle and was known to police.
The 34 year old was arrested without incident.
As a result the Stratford man was charged with uttering threats, assault with a weapon, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose and failure to comply with an undertaking.
The accused was released from custody and given a court date next month.
