Stratford Police Arrest 34 Year Old in Human Trafficking Report

On Thursday September 23rd, detectives from Stratford Police Service arrested a 34 year old Stratford resident for incidents involving human trafficking in 2012.
The survivor of this incident first contacted police earlier this month providing information they were a victim of human trafficking when she was only 15 years old.
Incidents were described to occur throughout the summer and fall of 2012 when the victim was able to escape her captors around Thanksgiving that year.
Detectives were able to identify the accused who turned himself into police.
The 34 year old male has been charged with Trafficking a Person Under the age of 18, Living off the Avails of a Person Under 18 and Procuring or Attempt to Procure.
The accused was released from custody on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on November 15th.
