Stratford-Perth Humane Society Raises Over $8,600 for Elderly Dog

The Stratford-Perth humane society called out to the public in help on their campaign to raise $7,500 for Betty, an elderly stray dog brought to the humane society.

After vet staff examined the dog, they discovered a large mass in her abdomen, turning out to be a large tumor. The public quickly responded raising over $8,600 on their campaign page.

Nick Burke, Director of Development for the Stratford-Perth Humane Society was very grateful for the support received. Burke added any remaining funds will go to help other vulnerable animals who need treatment.
