Stratford Man Charged with Providing Fake COVID-19 Test Result

A Stratford man has been charged with providing a fake COVID-19 test result to officials at the Toronto Pearson Airport.

According to police, officers were called to assist the Canadian Border Service Agency on February 8th around 7pm. A CBSA officer was conducting inspections when a man’s negative COVID-19 test result turned out to be fake and the man was actually positive for the virus.

The man was arrested and charged for using a forged document, he was transported to a hotel for his quarantine period. The accused will appear in court in Brampton on April 19th
