From the success seen last year after waiving the fees for outdoor patios in Stratford, officials are looking into offering outdoor seating again this year.
Council is looking into options for outdoor patio fees for downtown restaurants which would otherwise not have any outdoor seating.
Stratford first introduced an optional boardwalk extension in 2020 as a pandemic relief measure and was offered at no cost to businesses.
As set from the city, charges for this year of a cost for an outdoor business license is $619 plus $2.65 per square foot of patio space.
Council will consider options at a future meeting on the proposed 2022 outdoor patio guideline.
