The Kinsmen Club of Stratford has stepped up their support for the Avondale United Church’s Food Shelf Program.
The Kinsmen made a $3000 donation to the Church who have marked their 15th anniversary of the Food Shelf to support those in the community.
Kinsman Doug Young says they know the donation will be wisely and efficiently utilized to help families, young students and individuals.
The Food Shelf is open every Friday from 1-2:30pm who as of the end of October have served a total of 1539 people, a rise of 30 per cent from last year.
