Stratford City Council meetings are going to remain virtual heading into next year.
Council accepted a staff recommendation to continue to stay virtual for their meetings until the elevator at city hall is repaired which was damaged last January.
While the timeline isn’t known for its repair, council has directed staff for a report on options to meet in person if the elevator isn’t fixed by the end of January.
Part of the report is expected to include having a permanent secondary location for meetings should issues like this come up again.
