Stratford residents and visitors will soon be able to enjoy takeout and alcohol in Market Square, Tom Patterson Island, Memorial Gardens and the south shore of Lake Victoria park system.
This will all be in part as the province moves into step 1 of the reopening plan on Friday. Stratfords Al Fresco outdoor dining initiative which started last spring has picnic tables, table umbrellas and hand sanitizer in several public spaces in downtown which allows everyone to sit and enjoy a takeout meal and alcohol purchased from a business.
Patrons will be allowed to enjoy a meal and beverage from any of locations from 11am-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 11am-8pm Sunday-Thursday during the summer into early fall.
Rules will be similar to outdoor patio dining, limiting 4 people to a table at one time.
