Steve Clark to Maintain Role, Gets Backing of Doug Ford

Ontario’s Housing Minister Steve Clark will still be keeping his job despite the integrity commissioner saying he should face some form of punishment for his role in the Greenbelt land swap.

Steve Clark apologized for his role in the matter but will maintain his position while also getting the backing of Premier Doug Ford.

Clark’s apology comes a day after the province’s integrity commissioner found Clark had violated two sections of the Members Integrity Act as the government removed land from the Greenbelt for housing.
