A standoff in Stratford has ended peacefully with one man in custody and a woman taken to hospital.
Stratford police began their investigation into intimate partner violence which resulted in a woman being take to hospital early Thursday morning with a man barricading himself in a home.
Police say the man was arrested before 11am and no injuries were seen on the accused.
Stratford Police say the woman was found along Mornington Street by a witness who contacted police.
There was concern during the incident a firearm was used in the offence with a replica firearm taken at the time of arrest.
The accused was held in custody a pending hearing.
