Upgrades are on their way to the St Marys Memorial Hospital with a fundraiser bringing in a total of $600,000.
Starting next year, the hospital which is a 72 year old building will begin its largest update ever.
The healthcare foundation kicked off a recent fundraiser which saw the support to reach a pair of $300,000 pledges.
On top of a contribution from council has part of this year’s budget, McLean Taylor Construction also pledged $300,000.
The renovations at the St Marys Memorial Hospital was slotted at $7.6 million.
The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance has committed $2 million with the rest coming from the healthcare foundation which to date has seen more than $5 million raised in support.
