The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance announced more emergency department closures at its sites due to staffing shortages.
The Seaforth Community hospital’s emergency department was closed on Sunday at 5pm and will reopen later this morning at 7am.
The St Marys Memorial Hospital’s emergency department will close at 5pm then reopen at 7am on Tuesday, close at 7pm and remain closed until 7am on Saturday.
The closures at hospitals across Ontario are expected to continue to hit locally as the shortage hits province wide.
