It’s a boost for Rockwood seniors with an investment coming in for expansion of Squires Lodge.
Wellington County, through the Township of Guelph-Eramosa is supporting a $1,000,000 investment for the expansion.
This project will help add 23 new residential units, a common room and enhanced green spaces to help with the growing demand for affordable senior housing in the community.
Currently there are 80 people on a wait list for one bedroom units and 15 for two bedroom units with this expansion being a vital step for seniors to age in place, be close to friends and families as well as the community they love.
