Low pressure system is expected to track just east of Lake Erie and Ontario bringing rain, snow and strong winds through our area. It is expected to remain until Wednesday.
Precipitation is expected to begin Monday as rain and change quickly to snow Monday afternoon. Snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm for Goderich, Bluewater, South Huron, Stratford, Mitchell and South Perth and 10 to 20 cm for Listowel, Milverton, North Perth, Wingham, Blyth and North Huron.
Snow will continue into Tuesday and early Wednesday. Total snowfall for the Goderich South Huron region could be 15 cm and for the Listowel, North Perth and North Huron areas could be 30 cm.
