The Stratford Festival is receiving a boost of $1.5 million in recovery funding from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The funding comes from the Slaight Family Foundation which is supporting 22 theatres across the country.
The Foundation also supports charitable initiatives across the area which includes culture.
President and CEO of the foundation, Gary Slaight says they’re happy to support the work of creating more business and bring back audiences once again.
