The SIU has wrapped up a report on a police pursuit in Centre Wellington in March which left one man in hospital with serious injuries.
The Special Investigations Unit says there was no reasonable grounds to believe any officer committed a criminal offense during chase.
Police first attempted to stop a driver of a stolen Chrysler 300 just after midnight on March 22nd with spike strips being used but were unsuccessful.
Wellington County OPP later spotted the driver and during a chase, the Chrysler left the roadway and entered a ditch on Wellington Road 18 and 4th Line.
The report notes there was a cause to pursue the driver as he had proven to be a danger on the road.
