The Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate after a crash in Wellington County.
On August 16th just after 12am, OPP tried to stop a vehicle in Guelph-Eramosa with the vehicle not stopping and police eventually disengaging.
The suspect vehicle was later found part of a single vehicle crash with five occupants taken to hospital and three found to have sustained injuries.
The OPP notified the SIU which has now invoked its mandate and investigating.
