The Special Investigations Unit is looking into a fatal collision which occurred Sunday afternoon after a driver allegedly fled from a West Grey Police Service officer.
On Sunday around 1:25pm, a West Grey officer attempted to stop a driver near Priceville when the driver then fled from police and then got into a collision with another vehicle on Grey County Road 4 near Concession Road 2 just east of Durham.
The man in the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene with two passengers in the vehicle suffering serious injuries.
The driver who fled suffered serious injuries as well.
Three investigators and two forensic investigators are taking part in the case.
