The Special Investigations Unit is being called to investigate after a man was found dead while being held in custody at the Rockwood OPP station.
The SIU says the 36 year old was arrested by OPP in Arthur on July 9th at 8:30pm and was kept in a cell at the station in Teviotdale but was transferred to Rockwood the same night.
In the morning on July 10th the man was seen in medical distress and died in hospital at 11:20am.
Three investigators and one forensic investigator from the SIU has been assigned to the case with a post mortem later today.
