On April 30th at around 10am, Wellington County OPP received a report of a dog not on a leash and had bitten multiple people.
Police were able to locate the owner of the dog and as a result a 75 year old of Fergus was charged with two counts of Failing to Prevent Dog from Biting and Failing to Retrain Dog by a Leash.
The accused will appear in Guelph court on July 19th.
