The event is held to celebrate the life and work of Scotland’s national bard Robbie Burns.
Senators Rob Black, from Fergus, Ontario made light that at the event he spent time with board members of the Fergus Scottish Festival.
He says that community organizations that play together on occasion also work well together.
He says that everyone looks forward to the next holding of the Fergus Scottish Festival & Highland Games from August 11th to 13th.
