Wellington County OPP have charged a 26-year-old of Durham after a search warrant was executed in Mount Forest last Thursday.
Members of the Wellington County Street Crimes Unit executed it at a residence in the area in relation to a drug trafficking investigation.
It was executed with the assistance of the West Region Canine Unit, Emergency Response Unit and the Community Response Unit.
It resulted in the seizure of various weapons, ammunition and drug trafficking related items. The male suspect faces 2 counts of careless storage of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
They were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
