Search Warrant in Listowel Turns Up Over $7500 in Drugs

On May 3rd, Perth County OPP was joined with the Community Street Crime Unit and West Region Response Team for a search warrant at a Derry Street East residence in Listowel.

Police seized a quantity of suspected Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Hydromorphone with an estimated value of $7690, Canadian currency of $215 and weapons and property with a value of $2750.

A 33-year-old of North Perth was charged with:

–      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Opioid (other than heroin)

–      Fail to comply with Probation Order

–      Poss of a Schedule I substance – Methamphetamine

–      Poss of a Schedule I substance – Opioid (other than heroin)

–      Poss of a Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order (three counts)

–      Carrying concealed weapon

–    & nbsp; Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court (two counts)

–      Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition

A 31-year-old of North Perth was charged with:

–      Poss of a Schedule I substance – Methamphetamine

–      Obstruct Peace Officer

–      Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Opioid (other than heroin)

–      Failure to comply with release order- other than to attend court (two counts)

–      Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin)

Both are being held pending a bail hearing.
