Search efforts continue again this morning for a 10 year old child who went missing near the river outside of Mitchell.
Emergency service personnel continue to ask residents to stay away from rivers after a 10 year old child who was last seen at the river outside of Mitchell.
OPP, Perth County Paramedics, Stratford, St Marys and Huron Area Search and Rescue Swift Water teams are working alongside OPP West Region Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, Underwater Search and Rescue and Aviation as they search for the child.
The public is asked to avoid the area and while citizens have offered to help in the search, the area of the river is not deemed safe and could hinder rescue efforts.
