The event is scheduled August 13th to 16th.
The event usually attracts around 22,000 people to the Fergus area and ancillary benefits of those people visiting area businesses will be something missed by the business community.
It contributes $3.5 million dollars to the local economy.
Virtual events planned for this years Virtual Festival include Dancer Performances, the Heritage Village, Clans and Heavy events.
There were segment on athletes and highland dancers as well last year offering the how to on learning their dance moves. Viewers even got a chance to learn to speak Gaelic and how to play the bagpipes.
