The Town of Erin has named Scott Bates as the next Deputy Chief of Operations for the Erin Fire Department.
In a release, the town says Scott has been a dedicated member of Erin Fire & Emergency Services for many years working out of both stations who has demonstrated leadership, professionalism and commitment to both firefighters and the community.
Bates has held roles including as Interim Fire Chief, Acting District Chief and Chief Training Officer.
Scott will be responsible for overseeing operational response, supporting officers and firefighters and helping guide the department as they continue to grow and evolve.
