A 66 year old has been charged after an incident saw a heavy police presence in Listowel Wednesday night.
Perth County OPP responded to the area of Derry Street East in town for an incident involving a person in distress at around 9:30pm.
The scene was contained with help by OPP West Region Emergency Response, Canine and Crisis Negotiators
A 66 year old of North Perth was arrested and charged with Uttering Threats Damage Property.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
