The Listowel Salvation Army is calling on those who are able to give as the Salvation Army is in heavy need of some goods.
The Salvation Army says summer time can be a difficult month in the food bank as families go through more food than usual with kids at home and being active.
Those who are grocery shopping are asked if possible to grab an extra item or two to be able to donate.
Some items most in need include canned fruit and meat, coffee, small soups, cold cereal, pasta sauce and personal hygiene items.
