Every holiday season in shops and grocery stores you’d see volunteers for the Salvation Army taking donations for the annual kettle drive. Due to COVID-19 it was up in the air if it would continue this year.
If anything, the need for the kettle drive is more important this year than any as more families are turning for help. The Listowel branch of the Salvation Army has setups for the kettle drive in four locations across town and will be in place until December 24th. All donations stay local.
The Salvation Army Kettle Drive can be seen in Listowel at Walmart, Zehrs, Food Basics and Giant Tiger. Anyone who wants to volunteer for two hour shifts for the drive can contact Homewood at 226-622-6989 or Homewood@Wightman.ca
