Students at Listowel Eastdale Public School wished a happy retirement on Friday to principal Ruth Lovell who is hanging up the hat.
Presentations from different classes and a special video were all done in an assembly to thank Lovell for her work as principal over the years.
Matt Gennings has started his role as principal for Listowel Eastdale.
Gennings thanked Lovell for her work and leadership at the school and within the community and is looking forward to supporting the students and the initiatives already taking place at the school.
