Crews are working their way to Millbank where they will turn around and recycle the other lane.
The project is estimated to take 8 working days with weather permitting.
Cold-in-place is where a road is rehabilitated by taking existing paving materials, mill them, mix and re-use in place without heat being applied.
It reduces the life cost of the pavement by reusing the existing asphalt. It also uses less COS emissions.
Over 90% of Perth County roads have been recycled.
