UPDATE: Road reopened following an Incident in West Perth

The Perth County OPP are currently not he scene dealing with an incident on Wellington Street in West Perth that began at approximately 9 am this morning.

Wellington Street is currently closed between Rowland and Waterloo Streets. The public is being asked to avoid the area until further notice.

UPDATE: The road has been re-opened as of 3:30pm

There is no threat to public safety and additional information will be provided when it becomes available.
