The Avon Maitland District School Board has named Riley Culhane as the newest Superintendent of Education who will assume the role on September 1st.
Culhane comes in to fill the role for April Smith who left earlier this month.
Riley takes the role with 11 years of senior leadership experience who previously served with the Thames Valley District School Board.
Director of Education Graham Shantz says they are thrilled to welcome Riley who brings in a wealth of knowledge and experience who will support students and staff in the areas of curriculum support, professional development and equity.
