A mural in Harriston will undergo an upgrade following council approval.
The mural on Elora Street, mostly known as the REMAX Mural was painted in 2020 which is starting to show signs of age.
A council approved artist, Blaze Wiradharma will help upgrade the mural who has been the artist behind many murals in town.
Minto Economic and Community Development Officer, Belinda Wick-Graham says they have funds not yet used which can be carried for this project.
“We do have a public art rehab fund in our capital budget and it wasn’t spent last year so to refurbish this one, we’ll be using last years money and this years money.” said Graham.
It’s expected this new mural will be painted between August 4th-8th.
